Cada año, SPACE brings together the global livestock industry in Rennes, Brittany, for one of Europe’s leading agricultural exhibitions. The event attracts around Expositores 1,200 repartir 11 sector-specific halls, creating a valuable platform for industry networking, knowledge sharing, and business development.
This year, LIC was represented by its French partner, Progenes, exhibiting in Salón 1, the section dedicated to genetics and dairy farming services. The hall provided an ideal setting to connect with dairy farmers, breeding organisations, and industry professionals interested in the latest developments in dairy genetics and herd improvement.
As LIC’s representative in France, Progenes showcased New Zealand breeding expertise and highlighted the benefits of LIC genetics within pasture-based dairy production systems. The exhibition also provided an opportunity to strengthen relationships with existing customers and engage with new audiences from across France and Europe.
Adding further value to the event, Progenes invited members of the Association Croisement Kiwi France, bringing together farmers and breeders with a shared interest in New Zealand genetics and crossbreeding systems. Their presence helped foster discussion around breeding objectives, farm performance, and the practical application of Kiwi genetics in French dairy herds.
SPACE continues to be an important event for showcasing innovation and building connections across the international dairy industry, and the strong presence of Progenes and the Association Croisement Kiwi France reinforced LIC’s commitment to supporting dairy farmers in the French market.
